In short, my brother was getting married in Hawaii, I searched the internet for a great hairstylist and called five. Of those five, I spoke with two t...hat never called me back but Melanie did. She was professional, on time and she did GREAT work. I got compliments at the LAX airport. My highlights and hairstyle came out perfect for the wedding. She's professional, honest and fair and her work studio is awesome and private!!! Show more

Just got home from having my hair done with Melanie and I have to say - It Looks Fabulous! I found her through Groupon, and I was partially in shock t...hat they had Black Hair Care professionals on the site, and then someone who did thermal press; I had to try it out. I was not disappointed! She knows hair, not just products. She also didn't try to up-sell me, which I really appreciated. She instead talked to me about what products I was using and what were the goals for my hair. She's really GOOD at what she does! Show more

Melanie is amazing!! I am so happy to have found her. No one else was able to cut or style my natural curls until I met her. I am still in shock that ...I met a stylist that can give me smooth and bouncy curls without the frizz. When I want length she does my sew in extensions and they always match my hair perfectly. When she takes them out I don't loose half my hair with them. The best part is that she has expanded her service so I not only get my hair done closer to home, I get it done AT home because she makes house calls to Studio City now! I can't say enough good things about Melanie and I would rate her 10 stars if i could. Show more
