Why don’t they allow 10 or 20 stars? Bossee deserves 100 stars. I was able to book an appointment same day(unheard of for braids) after another local... braided backed out on a scheduled appointment last minute. The service was amazing. The communication even better. She was running a few minutes behind but called to let me know. Once in the chair she was super patient with my granddaughter who just wasn’t feeling getting her hair braided. Bossee even rewashed her hair because of a hard day at pre school. Can I just saw Bossee will forever be our “go to” Braider. Do yourself a favor and book her today. Right now. Don’t wait. And yes this is a real review. Each time I go for a retwist, Alecia takes... time to wash and treat my hair and she has helped me keep my locs when I thought I needed to start over. I appreciate her service because she cares about her clients and their look. Overall her service to her clients is amazing!!! Show more

Alecia is always late and does not communicate that she is running late. I was her first appointment on this day. I have communicated and Alecia was u...naware of this problem and continued to be late. She does not apologize and if you say anything to her about it, she is rude and disrespectful in words, tone, language, and actions. She hollard at me and raised her voice loud so that the whole shop could hear her. She verbally attacked me because she was late. If she did not want to do my hair, she could have refunded my deposit, but she did not. She stated several times that the 15 minutes were for her to always be late and that this is how she runs her business. She was rude and disrespectful to me while doing my hair. She was rushing me to leave because she was late and had another client. I communicated to her that my hair was not right. I did not like my hair and I stayed because I could not be bothered to get my deposit back and she did not offer to refund it after hollering at me because she was late. Alecia does not care about her customer/client. She does not care that customers are paying for a service and the time booked. It is not the customer's fault for her being late and she shouldn't blame or disrespect the paying customer because she is late. I reported this to the owner in the shop, who witnessed Alecia's unprofessional behavior. He stated that Alecia's behavior was wrong and not representative of his business because customers are valued. She received this review based on this appointment and her unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful behavior. No one should ever experience this when paying for a service and a time. I will not return. I have always paid in shop using Zelle, which I did today. Appointment was paid in full. Alecia has not accepted payment via Zelle/PayPal. PayPal confirmed that payment was sent and received by Alecia. See attached photos. She did not communicate that she could not accept payment until her comment response. The documented evidence shows I paid her in the shop. Payment was sent and deducted from my account. It is not my fault that her Zelle is not working and that she can't accept payment. She failed to communicate that in the shop and failed to provide another way for her to accept payment. Alecia was sent a Cease and Desist - Defamation, dated October 11, 2024, for making and for continuing to make defamatory, false, and misleading statements about me. These are the facts and not feelings. I do not recommend Alecia and I do not recommend her services. Show more

I understand that punctuality is important, and I’m truly sorry for running late. It’s always my goal to provide the best service, and I take full responsibility if my actions or words came across as disrespectful. That was not my intention, and I apologize if you felt rushed or uncomfortable. You could of left when you felt that way so we could of not go through this But instead you stayed didn't pay the full price and left a negative review because things didn't go your way. You left so many positive reviews but I apologize that this experience did not meet that same level of quality I appreciate your feedback, and I will use it to ensure that my communication and scheduling are improved moving forward. If there’s anything I can do to make this right or to better address your concerns, please feel free to reach out directly. Again, thank you for your feedback. Stylist started on my daughters hair 1hr and 20min after scheduled appointment time without notification that she was running behind schedule. I had t...o mention my displeasure with the wait before she acknowledged it or apologized. Her first response was a defensive reaction. It would have been nice if stylist used expertise to recommend possibly flex rod set instead of silk press as hair began to sweat out due to heat shortly after leaving salon. For the most part it was a waste of money. Show more
