Izzy performed a cut, color, and style. I would recommend him because he understood my request to remove all the blonde and age showing roots, lol. Izzy was EXTREMELY nice, polite, sociable, and attentive, however I don’t think he’s an expert with ethnic coils and curly cuts and his description cl...aims. He picked out my hair prior to washing it (a no no for ethnic low porosity hair since it causes breakage), my deep conditioner was done without a shower cap (the moisture can’t be retained without it), he cut my hair wet (another no no for curls and coils since the curls dry differently), and he didn’t style it when he finished the cut. I actually didn’t think he was done and would let a client walk out of the salon like that, but he was and he did. When he finished, I asked for some gel in hopes of styling it myself before I left, so he gave me 1 pump of product that I ran through my hair which didn’t help at all. I legit left the salon with an Afro. So basically for $100, I sat under the dryer and he trimmed my hair while wet. The price that was charged does not reflect the services I received. He’s super nice though, and so for that I have him 2 stars, but he is not the stylist for ethnic hair at all. Show more

I informed him I was new to the area, and ...he gave me a lot of recommendations for places to eat and activities to do.
