I decided to go to this salon because of mostly great reviews. My hair is very fine. I was in need of a good haircut and fine layering. Sumreen ( hair...stylist) listened to what I wanted and also offered her advice. She did a wonderful haircut and layering. My new hair looks so much healthier and gives my face a more youthful appearance. I definetely like my new haircut!The price is very reasonable too. Show more

Asked for highlights to help blend in my greys as they come in. I ended up with orange tiger stripes. Asked for a refund and Sumi refused. BEWARE

Update based on the owners response. I am the customer, but using my husband's account to post this review as mine disappeared. So no, my husband wasn...'t there, I was, and I wrote this out. You did not use toner, and I think the pictures speak for themselves. Also, I would like to know your cosmetology license number. My wife went to Salon Red yesterday for a cut and highlights. The cut lasted 5 minutes and her hair is uneven, shorter in the back. The highlights are more than an inch from the roots and the stylist did not use toner so the color is turned orange. The owner only offered to fix my wife's hair, and will not refund her money. We do not trust her to fix the hair after what she did. Show more
I made an appointment online, walked in and Ms. Suomi took care of me immediately! Full disclosure,...my eyebrows were a mess before I visited Red Sal...on (patches missing etc.). I came to get eyebrow threading and tinting. I was pleasantly surprised how Ms. Suomi made my eyebrows look phenomenal! She assisted me with choosing the perfect color combination for tinting. After she threaded my brows, I was blown away by the transformation knowing what she had to work with beforehand. I live almost an hour away but I will definitely make the trek to Lorton to get my brows done! On top of all of that her customer service is impeccable! Thank you Ms. Soomi! Show more
