I loved my experience with Ms. J. Im fairly new to getting my nails done, started in 2021, stopped 2022, then went back this February. Before my nail ...hiatus, I’ve had good experiences at salons. Recently, not too much, loved the experience but the results were disappointing. I had nails breaking the same day or within the same week of getting them done. I came across Ms. J by chance and luck. I was looking for hair braiders and for some reason, she popped up. I looked through her portfolio and instantly loved everything I’ve seen. I knew I had book an appointment. She was so considerate before confirming the appointment with trying to match the exact color in the design I sent. I appreciated her asking and letting me know beforehand, even though wanted the design and open to any color. I always came with a design in mind at nail salons, but always got variations of the design. Seeing Ms. J’s work, I knew I would get exactly what I wanted. She absolutely did an amazing job. Her vibe is amazing. The atmosphere is great. She has a phone stand to let you watch movies while she’s doing your nails. She makes sure you’re comfortable throughout the whole process. There’s so much more I can say about my experience but I’ll definitely be coming back. I mentioned to her before leaving I’ll see her in 2 weeks. Her response was priceless “maybe 3 weeks. I booked my first appointment after asking a few questions, and made sure I arrived before my appointment. She asked me to wash my hands as she was w...rapping up with another client, and I did. I sat down and had to use the ladies room, and she told me where it was. Then she said, “But you will need to wash your hands again.” I was not offended - even though I was going to the bathroom. I washed them there AND in front of her table, as directed. I sat down, and she confirmed the service I was getting and what color I wanted. I told her and asked her to choose the color, and she got to work. She did it ALL! She noticed that my nails were too soft to soak for a manicure, and did a “dry one,” which I had never heard of. She then soaked off the remaining old acrylic, which I had not included as part of my service, and then continued the process. She was very professional and respectful, asking if I was in any pain because she knew my nails were thin. She shaped my nails perfectly, did the polish and a cute design, which I never do! I told her I’d see her in 2 weeks and her reply was, “And if you don’t need your nails done, I will send you home.” I paid her for the services she provided, which was more than she charged, and I will go back to see Miss J! She is about her business and providing her service, and even referred me to the woman who does pedicures in the shop. I saw her 2 days later. You cannot go wrong - depending on what you’re looking for. I like my nails short because I use the computer all day. For someone who doesn’t do a lot of short nails, my nails looked AH-mazing!!
