I’ve been coming here since they first opened and always have a wonderful experience. I was taken care of by Brian for the first time this weekend and... they did such an amazing job! Best pedicure I’ve had in a long time and they took the time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted at every step. I love how my nails turned out! This is my go to nail salon in Chicago :) Show more

This was my first time here, I booked ahead for a Deluxe Pedicure, however they ended up giving me the Basic Pedicure - having never been here I didn’...t realize that was what was happening until the nail tech started painting and it was too late (it was not with Brian as I was booked, I think they may have switched me with someone else?). The nail tech was quite rough when buffing my nails and feet, it was the opposite of relaxing. Once we get done and I’m drying my nails, I realize my big toenail is broken, not sure if it was before or during the pedicure but either way, the tech had to come back and trim and repaint that nail. Then I’m told the repainted nail is dry and I’m good to go home, I get back and of course that nail is smudged and looks terrible. At my usual nail salon (which I now regret ever deviating from), they ensure the nails are dry and will spray and then wrap in cellophane to protect on your walk home. This was not even offered to me. Definitely a very disappointing experience overall. Show more

Hi Megan! I’m very sorry that you did not have a good experience with us. I apologize for our mistake of giving you a different pedicure that was not what you wanted at first. Also our booking system allows clients to book appointments with whoever nail tech available at a specific time. That's why I encourage my clients to call or leave a note if they want to request a specific nail tech. In addition, I also do have quick dry drops on the top of the dryer, oil and plastic bag to wrap up your toes. However, my nail technician should do a better job to give you an estimate time on how long your toes would be dry and helped you out with wrapping your toes. I love everything about Mary’s Hot Nails. Set in the great Wrigleyville neighborhood, the salon offers every possible nail service imaginable. Rachel ...is by far the best manicurist I have ever had. She is incredibly knowledgeable about nail care and what techniques work best for her clients’ needs. She is a total perfectionist and my nails look amazing. Show more

Everyone was nice. I made two pedicure appointments for my sister and me, but I sat for 15 min without so much as water to soak my feet in. My sister ...was done and seated to dry her toes while my pedicure had barely started. I ended up forgoing any color bc we would have had to wait even longer to continue our day. It was so tight and crowded in there that my sister ended up waiting in the car while I finished up. They checked her polish and said she was good to put shoes on, but when she got home her pedicure was smudged. The person who did my pedicure was apologetic about the wait, but no one else acknowledged that our appointment was basically pointless. It put a real damper on our day. Show more

Everyone was very friendly, but I would not recommend this place for gel-x/anything with acrylics. I'm not sure if it is the nail tips they use or jus...t improper application, but they are very raised/look like they are pointing upward. The filing/shaping was also done pretty quickly without much attention to detail, and at least 3 of my nails were filed crooked even after I tried asking to get it fixed. The painting itself looks nice, so maybe this would be a good spot for simple manicures/pedicures, but I'm overall not happy with what I received, especially for the price of $80. Show more

This nail salon is the only place I’ll ever go to get my nails done in the city! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Rachel and Linh are always... so excited to see me, it’s so sweet!
